Our Story

Bienvenidos! We are happy to have you. Since we first opened our window in May 2021, Mezkla Taquería & Frutería has quickly become a favorite taco shop in Holland.

What started off as a mobile kitchen has turned into a brick and mortar restaurant on 8th Street in downtown Holland. We take pride in serving authentic Mexican street food recipes, fresh ingredients, bold flavors, handcrafted salsas and one of a kind fruit cups that will keep you coming back for more.

We still get our miles in on the food truck, though, catering events all over West Michigan to bring our recipes to parties, corporate events, weddings, and more.

Mezkla catered a friends wedding. I’ve been to the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed it, and this remained the same for the wedding! Staff were very friendly and professional, as well as prompt. The food was delicious on every level. There were chips, guacamole, salsa, fruits, tacos were chicken, steak, cactus, with self-serve topping options.

Even the fruit was amazing and fresh, which was a pleasant surprise for the season! Multiple people told me how much they enjoyed the food, and a few said the guacamole was some of the best they’ve had (I agree – Mezkla’s is my favorite). Can’t wait to get them again!

Excellent! I shared this with the owners, so i’ll share this here. I have never been a fan of Mexican food in Holland and had lost hope. Hope has been restored, the flavor is authentic and refreshing. The location is perfect and they did a wonderful job with their interior. But most of all, I want to commend the owners for the environment they are fostering. Their service was excellent, very kind and appreciative.

They checked up on us several times. We tried the burrito with the queso, the loaded nachos with carne asada and the taco de queso panela. 5 stars on everything. Thank you! We will be back. Wishing you all the success and sending love.
